How will you ship my order out?
We deliver to all states and territories in Australia. All products are delivered using our preferred couriers TNT or Australia Post.
- Please allow 3 - 5 working days for delivery of accessories (depending on your location in Australia)
- Merida, Focus, Malvern Star, Linus, Eastern, Redline, DK, The Electric Bicycle Co and Electra bikes must be picked up in store at 399 Bong Bong St Bowral due manafacturer guidelines and warranties. Sorry there is no way around this!
- GPI Cheetah, Cooper, Devinci, Vivente and Wolf E bikes can be shipped partially assembled directly to you - freight charge according to postcode. Please call 02 48611419 for quote or email sales@bongbongcycles.com.au
- Occasionally some items may take longer to deliver depending on stock and availability. If so, we will call you and let you know straight away.
- Delivery costs are displayed in the checkout areas. Most times it will be a flat $12.50 delivery fee.
- Items shall not be delivered until the full payment of the purchase price has been received via the authorised payment methods.
- No refunds will be accepted for bicycles, parts or accessories unless prior arrangement has been made with Bong Bong Cycles (BBC). Refunds are at the discretion of the BBC however we are very flexible.
How much does shipping cost?
Rather then hide the shipping rates into the price, we prefer to let you know exactly what your paying up front so you can make the right decision.
As a general rule shipping rates are as follows:
- Flat rate for accessories: $12.50 AUD
- Bike boxes( GPI Cheetah, Cooper, Devinci, Vivente and Wolf E bike brands only ) According to post code.

Is your website pricing cheaper than your in-store pricing?
Yes, in some cases online prices will be cheaper than our store. This is to cover the additional expense of our staff stocking, handling and displaying the products, giving you the opportunity to actually handle and size the product if necessary
Do you have a newsletter you send out?
Yes we do! We send an email once or twice a month - Subscribe to our newsletter
What happens if something from my order is out-of-stock?
If an item you've ordered has become out-of-stock, or unavailable, we will ship the items that are available and the item that is unavailable will be back-ordered. We will contact you straight away by either phone or by email to notify you of a back-ordered item. If the back-ordered item is not available to ship within 14 days, this item will be cancelled. You will only be charged for items shipped. Back-Ordered items are shipped free of charge.
Is there a credit card surcharge on orders?
No, we do not charge any additional surcharge for paying with credit card or Pay Pal.
What currency are our prices in?
Prices displayed are in AUD (Australian Dollars) and they are indicative of Australian prices. Whilst we have endeavoured to ensure that all prices are accurate at the time of update the website, they may be subject to change without notice if necessary. Why didn't I receive an order number when paying by Paypal?
We have a security feature on our site which times out the Paypal payment pages if it is not completed in 5 minutes. This is to stop other people from using or viewing your confidential Paypal details. If you have completed the Paypal payment outside of 5 minutes and have not received an order number, please contact our sales staff so that they can process your order. Email sales@bongbongcycles.com.au for enquiries.
Do you ship internationally?
No, sorry we don't at the moment via the website. Currently we only ship to Australia, however if you see something you like than please email sales@bongbongcycles.com.au and we will let you know if we can ship the order.
Can I trust BBC for purchases online?
Of course you can! We totally respect your privacy being a small family run business. We have the same concerns about privacy as you! All the information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned. All information you provide will be held with the utmost care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.

What's the best way to order with BBC?
Ordering over the BBC website is the fastest and easiest way to place orders. These orders go straight to our processing team who are on standby to fulfill new orders. We also take fax, phone and mail orders. You can even drop by the shop and have a coffee with Tim in the shop located at 399 Bong Bong St Bowral, NSW.
What is the best way to contact BBC?
Email! Although we try our best to get back to everyone, due to busy times this can be a challenge. The best way for you to find out about products is to first read the product specifications, then contact us for a chat. We prefer email because we can answer them with more detail than phone calls. Do you provide Tax Invoices?
Yes, we are a law-abiding Australian company that complies with GST laws. Every order is accompanied with a Tax Invoice that lists our ABN and GST prices charged. Our ABN Number is: 49 608 731 300
What happens if I order the wrong product or the product is faulty?
If you need to return the product please ensure the product is properly packaged and sent via courier mail (or equivalent). Keep your mail receipt as you may be entitled to a refund if the product is deemed faulty.
